The Position
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability is seeking an Energy Score Program Aide (Community Service Aide II)!
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability administers two energy scoring and disclosure programs, Home Energy Score and Commercial Energy Performance Reporting. The Energy Score Program CSA will participate in and support a range of administration and compliance activities for both programs. This position will be working 20 hours per week.
The CSA will:
Search online real estate listings, cross reference properties between online listing services and records in an Access database.
Send, receive and respond to correspondence with homeowners, building managers and real estate agents regarding program compliance.
Conduct research to identify commercial building contacts.
Enter data related to customer contacts in program database.
Support data management tasks in Excel by sorting and cleaning for data analysis or data sharing.
Assist in responding to help desk inquiries related to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (online reporting tool) and/or policy requirements.
Various other tasks, as needed.

To Qualify
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
Experience with Internet searching and working with interactive websites.
Knowledge of databases such as Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access.
Knowledge and experience with customer services.
Ability to manage efficiently switching between different tasks, functions and programs on a daily basis.
