Supervisor: Program Director
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (generally Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM)
Wage Range: $16-18/hour

Community Warehouse is the only nonprofit, full-service furniture bank in this region that collects and redistributes donated furniture and household goods to neighbors in need.
Through two locations (Portland and Tualatin) and partnerships with over 200 social service agencies, public schools, and faith communities, the Warehouse helps 60 families every week stabilize their lives by providing them with the basics that turn their housing into more comfortable, functional homes. Families are able to receive beds, a kitchen table and chairs, a dresser, sofa, living room furniture, lamps, items for cooking and linens all in a single visit. These basic comforts of home go a long way in helping people improve their stability, quality of life, and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities: 
The Program Manager is responsible for the management of site-specific program operations. They will facilitate the implementation of Program goals, supervise site-specific Program staff, and represent the program site on Community Warehouse’s leadership team. The Program Manager will value working in a multicultural and diverse environment, support program access for clients, and champion agency goals. 

Essential Duties:
Supervise and support staff team, including: Client Services Specialist, Truck Drivers/Furniture Movers, and Program Coordinator.
Work effectively within a team-dependent environment and provide leadership that encourages collaboration at all levels.
Maintain flexible work attitude to ensure all site and program needs are met.
Manage client scheduling, greet clients and case managers, review intake paperwork, and collect waiver signatures and program access fees.
Maintain positive relationships with partner agencies and case managers.
Provide monthly case manager orientations.
Oversee building maintenance - internal and external.
Ensure all site-specific vehicles are serviced and in good operating condition.
Take steps to ensure program goals for site are met.
Oversee expense budget for the site and ensure expenses are in line with revenue.
Work with Enterprise staff to determine which items are kept in the furniture bank and which items are sold in the Estate Store.
Support Development and Communications efforts as needed.
As part of the Community Warehouse Leadership team, support the organization's vision, values, direction, and policies.
Participate in performance evaluations of this position as directed by Program Director or Executive Director.
Other duties as may be assigned by Program Director or Executive Director.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business/non profit administration, social services, or other related field; or equivalent site management experience.
Strong, practiced leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability lift 50+ lbs repetitively.
Ability to drive a 20 foot box truck.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Self-motivated, self-directed work ethic.
Values a joyful work environment.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven.
Proven experience in engaging individuals and community groups. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Gmail platform.
