APPLY FOR THIS JOB

PaperCut is looking for a Workplace Experience Advocate to help foster a caring, fun and inclusive working environment. Are you someone who loves bringing people together and keeping things organized? If so, we need you!

Our US operation is a close-knit group of 28 Portland-based PaperCutters and 12 remoties who, together, support our customers and partners across the Americas region. We're moving to a hybrid working model so the office will be a place for employee connection, creating memories, and turbocharging customer solutions. The teams will also spend time at home and we want to help them to stay connected, healthy and happy! As our Workplace Experience Advocate, you will be the cultural, remote and office environment champion.

Our code saves trees. After 20+ years of building paper-saving print management software, we still have our first employees, first resellers, and first customers. Our success is not measured by profits and business metrics, but instead by the impact we've had on our 139 million users and our planet. We're values-driven and fuelled by coffee.

Some of the things you'll do...

    • Office management - purchase supplies, liaise with building management, manage guests and keep processes in check

    • Cultural activities - organize local and remote events, celebrate PaperCutters' achievements and milestones, and product release festivities.

    • People experience support - help onboard new PaperCutters, organize volunteering opportunities, and engage with employee resource groups to ensure global people initiatives are localized in the region.

    • Administrative and event support - help organize customer visits/events and support regional projects.

What success looks like 6 months in...

    • The Portland office is a vibrant and welcoming place to be and our PaperCutters enjoy their time spent with one another.

    • With your support, our teams are finding novel ways of staying connected and engaged when working from home.

    • You've made several improvements to the way we run the office both from your own ideas and feedback from others.

    • Your colleagues know they can rely on you for support, whether that be placing the finishing touches on a presentation or organising a customer visit that has the 'wow factor'.

What else you can expect from us...

    • We're a people-first type of place and we're led by our values in everything we do - Caring, Honest, Intelligent and Nimble (CHIN).

    • PaperCutters enjoy a flexible working environment. This particular role offers part-time hours 9am - 2pm, 4 days in the office, and 1 day from home (flexible based on in-office activities).

    • You will get access to a full suite of benefits including great medical and workers compensation coverage, 401(k) with matching contribution, 20 days paid vacation, 12 weeks parental leave and 5 days sick leave, longevity leave (extra 5 days paid leave after every 5 years) and more.

    • Our Portland office is right by Pine Street Market, with unlimited coffee from our in-house espresso machine.

Our commitment to you…

Our hiring process lets you show off the very best version of yourself while learning all about us at the same time. Our pinky promise is a candidate experience that’s enjoyable, thorough, and fair. That’s our way of inspiring the world's brightest minds to become PaperCutters.

As an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, we proudly encourage people from all walks of life to apply (even tea drinkers). We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as someone with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
