The Broomsmen and Elysium Events LLC are hiring part time, seasonal event staff to help coordinate and implement sustainability efforts for clients in the Metro region. This position is seasonal and temporary, hours fluctuate each month through the summer. Mostly weekend and evening hours. Main staffing need: Mcmenamin’s Edgefield summer concert series.
Salary: $12.50-$20.00/hr Non-benefit position. Pay depends on event, role and experience.

Duties:
Support event recycling companies manage the trash, recycling and compost at a variety of events throughout the summer in the Portland Metro area. This is a hands-on, physical position that may require individuals to be on their feet for up to 8 hours at a time. Applicant must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Specific duties may include: Monitoring waste stations, driving a gator/golf cart, collecting, hauling and sorting material, leading volunteers and educating the public.
Position Requirements:
Ideal candidates must be able to remain energetic and positive during busy events. Candidates must be able to handle a multitude of tasks and some positions require leadership roles. Experience driving a box truck is a plus, but not required.
