Do you love working hard using your hands and tools on a daily basis and keeping beautiful, historic building materials out of the waste stream? We are currently looking for a full-time Deconstructionist who will work in the field as part of a skilled team to safely disassemble houses and other structures to maximize the salvage of building materials for community reuse. A key part of the ReBuilding Center, our DeConstruction Services offer a sustainable alternative to conventional demolition. Working by hand, our crews salvage up to 85% of a building’s major components. A detailed job description is below, along with ways to apply.
