2025 Master Recycler Workshop Year
Over the course of 2025, all people who have gone through the Master Recycler Class are invited back to participate in monthly refresher trainings, tours, several in-person spring kick-off events, and appreciation events celebrating you! Pick and choose which trainings and tours interest you. Join all class sessions to essentially retake the Master Recycler class.
The Website Password is “recycler” for those of you who have not logged in for a while.

En el transcurso de 2025, todas las personas que hayan asistido a la clase de Expertos en Reciclaje están invitadas a volver a participar en capacitaciones de actualización mensuales, recorridos, varios eventos presenciales de inicio de primavera y eventos de reconocimiento para celebrar su participación. Elija qué capacitaciones y recorridos le interesan. Únase a todas las sesiones de clase para volver a tomar la clase de Expertos en Reciclaje.

Earth Day - Together as One
Invitation to check out an event
The City of Portland is inviting Master Recyclers to check out their community-wide Earth Day event at Laurelhurst Park. This free public event offers an opportunity to come together as a community to learn about local sustainability initiatives and deepen our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Information and activity tables hosted by local sustainability-focused organizations.
Refreshments available from Kona Ice.
Music entertainment by DJ Pyum.
A guided bike ride led by the Portland Bureau of Transportation departing at 11 a.m. from Colonel Summers Park and concluding in Laurelhurst Park.
This event is co-hosted by Vivian Satterfield, Chief Sustainability Officer and Amanda Garcia-Snell, Chief Engagement Officer. Participating organizations include: PBOT, PCEF, BPS, Portland Parks & Recreation, Portland Fire & Rescue, 1000 Friends of Oregon and more.

Thank you all for reporting your hours so diligently! We are expecting to migrate all Master Recycler data to a new system in March, which is slowing down our emails back to you.
Please continue to report your hours as usual. We will just be slow responding. If you would like to know your current total hours logged, please email us at masterrecycler@oregonmetro.gov and we will respond with your current total.
