Join the City of Gresham’s Solid Waste & Sustainability team engage with the public by offering educational fliers and answering questions about specific, hard-to-recycle items that they will have on display.

Audience will be mostly Gresham residents, but there may be occasional attendees from neighboring cities. Folks will be here to explore and “buy local” from produce to other small-business vendors.

The focus of this table (with chairs) will be education and engagement about recycling and food waste reduction (how to keep things fresh at home). It may also include information about energy saving and “greener cleaning” at home. Any non-recycling topics will be covered by City staff. Master Recycler volunteers will focus on recycling questions and materials. Swag will be offered to passersby and flavored sparkling waters will be offered to volunteers! Time will also be set aside for volunteers to explore the market intermittently.
