In honor of United Nations World Day of Social Justice, Washington County’s Sustainability Division, in partnership with Solid Waste & Recycling and Community Engagement, is hosting a virtual panel discussion, titled More than Trash: Reducing Waste for Social Justice.  Representatives from three local organizations will connect the themes of food and materials waste to social justice, discuss the impacts of waste on marginalized communities, and provide resources for you to take action.
