Westside Master Recyclers request your participation to table and help with materials collection areas. 

At PlanetCon events, community members of Washington County are invited to come learn about and practice waste reduction.  These free events provide opportunity to recycle non-curbside materials such as polystyrene (aka Styrofoam,) certain rigid plastics, and plastic film.    There will also be a winter holiday swap area where people exchange their unwanted but still usable items for those of other participants. Many information tables and organizations focused on green living will be on hand to educate and answer questions.

Outreach topic choices:  General Recycling, Eat Smart Waste Less, Reduce Holiday Waste, etc.  Or, share a topic of your choice!

New!!  Work our One-On-One station where an attendee gets 5 minutes to pick your brain about all things waste prevention and reduction.  One hour shifts available.

*Calling all Spanish speaking Master Recyclers!  PlanetCon is a great chance to share your waste wisdom with our Spanish speaking attendees.
