Westside Master Recyclers invite you to table and help with materials collection areas.  Topic choices:  Eat Smart Waste Less, Greener Cleaners, Zero-Waste Events or durables vs. disposables, & Buying in Bulk.

*Although we expect visitors from different communities in Wash Co., Cornelius is around 50% hispanic.  Spanish useful however, we will be staging Spanish interpreters throughout the event venue.  

At PlanetCon events, community members of western Washington County are invited to come learn about and practice waste reduction.  These free events give opportunity to recycle non-curbside materials such as polystyrene (aka Styrofoam,) tires, and stretchy plastic film (bags, overwrap, bubble wrap, etc.)   Many information tables and organizations focused on green living will be on hand to educate and answer questions.  There will also be a swap area set up for people to exchange their unwanted but still usable items for those of other participants.
