You will be stationed at one of three PODs taking donations from students, tracking those donations, and organizing into the proper bins. You will also turn away any non-accepted items and direct people where they should take them (trash or recycling). You will also answer questions from students about what is recyclable and what is not. You will also be helping individual community members find the bins of items they are looking for. You will track what items are being taken by the community members. At the end of the day you will help local community groups with their pick-up. Local groups will have specific items they will be picking up. You will help to find and load the items. We ask that you sign up for at least a 2 hour shift, but you are able to sign up for more or even the whole day. Please contact me ahead of time if you are interested for further information.
