What began as an idea by Master Recyclers Roberta Sommer and Lori Gates to have a post holiday community Stryrofoam/polystyrene collection event has now broadened to include plastic bag recycling, winter coat collection and a holiday decor swap.

Wash Co, City of Hillsboro, and Hillsboro Schools are on board so they have a lot of support and resources.  They are still trying to nail down a date but are looking at Jan. 6th or Jan. 13th.  

They invite Master Recyclers to check out a kit staffing a table at the event. Pick your topic!  Recycling/Food Waste and worm bins (chairs and tables will be provided)
