This assisted and independent-living community in Clacka.mas is looking for a volunteer to staff an informational table at their annual wellness Fair with information the county will provide on waste prevention such as junk-mail and food waste reduction, recycling information and sharps and medication disposal. Management is very engaged with the community, and committed to sustainable practices – we’ve offered several recycling refreshers to residents and staff over the past year. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with engaged residents, doing outreach and building relationships.
