The City of Sherwood invites a Master Recycler to provide recycling education after the neighborhood trash pickup. The community will be out picking up litter at 10:30-11:30 and afterward come back to celebrate and see all the crazy trash they found. You could have a table of information for people as they are arriving and give a quick spiel about why recycling is important during the final wrap up.

Alternatively, a Green Team from the Sherwood high school will be promoting a “green” craft once a month at their library. Instead of focusing on recycling at Trashpalooza, you would work with the youth to create a presentation on creating crafts out of reused materials.
